This is a large (4' x 4') abstract painting in yellows, grays, and tan. The photo makes the figures look blue-is, but they are actually more of a charcoal gray. I believe that when a person dies, his or her soul may take a while to finish crossing over to whatever is next. Some souls hang around for a while, unsettled, maybe with unfinished business. Some stay in that half-way place a longgg time. I guess some never get to cross over and be at peace.
This painting is my interpretation of a group of new souls, trying to find their way to the next dimension. There is a group behind them, barely seen, and one in front, almost gone. Each person in the group of souls must find the way.
Many people have experienced seeing and talking to a loved one, after that person has gone. I know my father came to see me, to say that he loved me and to say goodbye. I think he knew that I needed closure, as I did not have a chance to say good-bye before he passed away. He was a wonderful father and a beautiful person. We lost him when I was a young adult, but he lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
This work is gallery wrapped, painted on the sides, wired, and ready to hang. No frame needed. It is for sale, with S & H additional. If you live with 50 miles of the artist, Adonna will bring the painting to you, and if her sweet hubby is available, he will come with her & hang it for you. Both the transportation and and hanging would be complimentary, within that 50 mile range. Thanks for your interest in my art! Adonna
