Lost & Found
A large 4' x 5' abstract. My sister said this looked like original layers of paint showing through newer layers. That's a good physical description of what I was thinking when I painted it. The work is about a person realizing who she is and what she wants and beginning to make a decison to be true to that feeling, letting one's real nature come through. In my case, I had been thinking about doing something for a long time; something just for me, and finally I decided to go through with it. Life is not a dress rehearsal. This painting represents that feeling, of finally letting my true self begin to show. It is for sale and can be seen at Ling's Bistro in the Laurel Park area of Hendersonville, NC.
