Meltdown
A vertical diptych (2 part painting). There are many different kinds of meltdowns: emotional ones, those from illness, pain, worry over families, when your job is next to impossible, when you have cranky, exhausted kids on a hot August vacation day and the car breaks down. This 2-part painting represents those days with the color seeming to "melt" down off the canvas. Each canvas is 30" high and 40" wide, so together they are 60" high, plus any space you put between them. This painting is for sale & is currently on exhibit in the Chicago Merchandise Mart. It can be shipped from Chicago to anywhere in the continental USA. Can be hung together or a few inches apart. Acrylic on canvases.
